Hi! I’m Christie Brayton, owner of The Wandery! I’m so glad you stopped by my site today to check out what’s in store for our little traveling bookshop. The idea for The Wandery grew out of a simple Facebook post. I came across a reel that had a photo of a quaint little book store with a caption that highlighted the desire to own and run a cozy storefront that sells books, flowers, and coffee - all of my favorite things! The longing for such a place struck me, and I spent the next few weeks thinking about how wonderful that would be. Then I thought to myself - why not make it happen in a way that works for me? Thus, the idea for The Wandery: A Traveling Bookshop was planted, and it grew from there.

I can’t wait to see this idea come to life and bring you a selection of gently used and like-new books, along with some wonderfully bookish items and handmade goods.
